A long time ago, in a galaxy very far away, I had a habit of collecting articles about the world of contra dancing and its inhabitants. Some years ago, for a variety of reasons, I decided to take the site down. Some years more recently, a couple people whose opinions matter to me happened to mention they missed having some of these articles available to point people to. That in fact, there are links someplace out there to some of the articles that used to appear here. So I brought it back to life.
Astonishing! Despite al the changes in my life the last 20+ years, I've managed to keep this site up and running. Even going through the trouble to modernize it so it's a bit more readable even on a mobile phone. When I first created this site, such things didn't exist. So I guess it's about time! I've occasionally received feedback that this site remains useful for those rare folk who continue to have interest in what was happening in the world of contradancing around 80s and 90s.
