About Contra Dancing

Contra dancing is one of the better ways to pass the time in this world. I've been involved with it in one way or another since the early 80s. I've collected a number of articles over the years by various other people who have been involved more or less passionately in this activity.

If you have never been to a dance or have never even heard of it, the Santa Barbara Country Dance Society has a description of contra dancing that will give you a reasonably good idea of what it's all about.
